Well, here I am sitting and eating some left over cake from a chocolate class I took at Hancock college last night. The cake is called “The King’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bourbon Cake” and is sinfully rich. The class was appropriately titled “Chocolate Desserts” and was taught by Amber Russell. We divided into 5 groups and made 6 different chocolate desserts. The class meets for two Fridays and the next class is February 27. I will be posting some photos as we make desserts next week as well as some recipes and the cookbooks where the recipes can be found .

Baby Shower Cake
My daughter and her two friends planned a baby shower for their friend Kayla, this weekend. The three girls decided to use different colored chocolate wafers and baby shower chocolate molds to make a special cake for the occasion. It was very simple, they broke the chocolate wafers in bowls and microwaved the bowls about 1 minute, stirring in between each 30 second interval. Then they used small craft paint brushes and painted the details. After that, they filled the cavities with the chocolate of their choice. Here are some of the candies they made. You can find colored chocolate and chocolate molds with a baby theme at :Lots of new product!
We just put a lot of product on www.adassweetinspirations.com .
